Animal sheltering is at a crossroads. Public awareness of our work is more significant than ever, thanks to two decades of no-kill advocacy and awareness. However, shelters around the country operate beyond their humane capacity while receiving only a fraction of the needed resources. This situation must change. It is time to expand our thinking when it comes to no-kill.
